All students receive private lessons and have a chance to showcase their work in three recitals each year. Extra group activities are offered to enrich learning — playing tone-chimes and recorders are two examples. Theory instruction can be included in the private lesson or the student may opt to participate in a small class.
The syllabus of the Royal Conservatory Of Music is used as a guideline to develop the many skills needed by budding pianists. Jazz and popular repertoire can be included if desired. Computer applications such as Logic, Garage Band, and Finale are incorporated as a fun way to explore students’ creative potential.
It’s never too late to begin or to resume your journey in learning to play the piano. Lesson times can be flexible to accommodate changing work schedules, travel plans, or the surprises that life tends to bring along the way.
